Telecoms has
now become integrated with data and IT systems.
If you have
multiple sites then it is now possible to route calls
between the sites over the Internet, not only saving money
in call costs, but giving the impression to external callers
that all of the people that they may be transferred to are
located in the same office.
Physical
phones can even be replaced with "Soft-phones", meaning
that applications on your computer are able to integrate
with the phone. For example, you could call a person
on your Outlook Contacts list simply by clicking them and
choosing the number you wish to call. Click the image
