Folder
Redirection
Folder
redirection is a way of centralizing user data, such as My
Documents and Desktops, so that it still appears to the user
in the same way but in fact it resides on the server.
This has the benefit of being available to you no matter
which computer that you log on to, whilst making the network
easier to manage and more reliable. It has the added
benefit of centralizing the data for the purposes of making
a single backup and reduces logon times.
