Computer Repair
We offer a
support contracts
service and an ad-hoc repair service. Computers
are used for many jobs and in many environments.
Sometimes a hardware failure can occur because a computer is
subjected to excessive heat, moisture or sometimes it can
simply be that component's "time".
Many parts are
subject to failure including, hard drives (critical as they
store your information, see also
backup solutions), power supplies, motherboards,
graphics cards, memory, screens and the list goes on.
You should note
that the first point of call for a hardware problem when you
computer is under warranty should be the manufacturer as the
entire process is designed by them to make it easy for you
to contact them directly and there is normally no charge at
all for the repair. We recommend Dell for computer
purchases so if you have a Dell computer under warranty try
contacting them
here
first.
Sometimes the
problem can be a software problem, perhaps Windows
corruption, Virus activity, bugs in programs, user error.
Our philosophy
is to try to provide you with the most straight forward,
lowest cost possible computer repair. Often a computer
company will charge you for the time involved in the repair
of your computer (and in some cases, where the quantities
are really unknown, this can be justified). We recognise that you would like to know what it is going to
cost to repair your computer so we have created packages for
the regular types of maintenance, Windows repair,
Windows reinstallation (with and without backups), virus
removal checklist. We are always working on ways to
convert our services to simple products so please check back
here as we add other products.
